Survey on COVID-19 Vaccination in Namibia launched

Ndatara surveys is studying the preference and attitudes of Namibians in relation to potential covid-19 vaccination in Namibia. As part of this study, Ndatara has launched a survey and invites every Namibian (18 years and above) to participate. The survey will be a longitudinal CAPI/online survey, i.e. a survey with multiple stages. This means a part of the survey will be repeated after one month and again after two months, each one in all the 14 regions of Namibia. To ensure representation of the population, the survey is presented in all the major languages of Namibia including: Oshiwambo, Otjiherero, Damara/Nama, Rukwangali, Silozi, Afrikaans and English.

The results of this study will help to understand what shapes people’s willingness to be vaccinated, and how this willingness could be affected by external factors. As a token of our appreciation, we are giving away four N$500 vouchers to four lucky winners who participate in all the three waves of the study.
